The Channel Islands

Safehaven was established in the Island of Guernsey in 1981. Together with Jersey and other smaller islands, Guernsey forms part of a small archipelago in the English Channel.

There are no corporation or capital taxes in the Islands, and generally such taxes and duties that are applied effectively only impact upon residents of the Islands.

Safehaven's head office, de Catapan House is conveniently located in St Peter Port, Guernsey and is the hub of our international operations. We are fully licenced by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission as fiduciaries

The position of the islands in relation to the European Community is best summarised as "in, but effectively out".

Malta

Safehaven established a subsidiary in Malta in the summer of 2008. Based currently in the Island's capital Valletta, it's small specialist staff will assist Mediterranean-based clients whilst visiting the Island; often for the purpose of complying with value added tax and duty requirements. The Malta office represents Safehaven's European Union presence and is a centre for various financial administration activities.

Safehaven's fiduciary operations in Malta are fully licenced by the Maltese Financial Services Authority.

Isle of Man

Safehaven has been involved in activities with and in the Isle of Man for over a decade.

Our subsidiary, Safehaven Aero Nautical Limited, is established to provide a full service operation for Isle of Man registered companies and vessels.

Safehaven Aero Nautical is an approved Representative Person for the Isle of Man registered commercial yachts.

Anguilla

Safehaven establishes and administers Anguillan companies and is approved by the Anguillan Financial Services Comission as a Registered Overseas Agent.

As such, Safehaven can set up Anguillan companies online and download associated documents at any time in a matter of minutes after receipt of client instructions and due diligence.

Cayman Islands

Safehaven has been involved with and worked on the registration of Cayman registered yachts for many years.

Safehaven is probably one of the most promiscuous non-Island based users of the Registry!

Safehaven Marine Limited, our subsidiary, is an authorized Representative Person for registry in Cayman, combining all the facilities for Cayman registration with the benefit of Safehaven's international expertise.
