US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Re-Registration and Renewal of Aircraft Registration
The 20th July, 2010 saw the introduction by the FAA of a new rule (Final Rule) to establish specific registration expiration dates over a three-year period for all US aircraft registered before October 1st 2010.
The rule requires re-registration of such aircraft according to a specific schedule.
All aircraft registrations issued on or after 1 October 2010 will be valid for three years and will clearly show an expiration date.
