Channel Islands Aircraft Register

Guernsey's Commerce and Employment minister, Carla McNulty Bauer, and Senator Alan Maclean of the Jersey Economic Development Department have today announced a greater co-operation between the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Jersey in a number of strategic areas including the possibility of developing an aircraft register for the Channel Islands.

The announcement was greeted with enthusiasm by Duncan Swanson, Director of Guernsey based marine and aviation specialist Safehaven International Limited.

Safehaven’s experience of registering private and corporate jet aircraft in other jurisdictions, notably, the Isle of Man, means that it is well placed to participate in the registration of aircraft on a Channel Islands register should plans to develop the same come to fruition.
